Day 1027

The end of an incredibly long January. Did FORTH experiments and a good bit of Latin. In the evening decided to summarise 1987-88, long missing from the meta-history. The 1987 diary is very funny and touching. Good friends, a piss-up now and then, unintrusive authority, long conversations. I'd forgotten, and how nice they could all be. It was a good time; those were the days. Even with the election.
