Day 1099

Left at 8.45, got there at 1.10, stopping at Reading. Everything went very well, lovely spring weather. I can see why they have funerals now (not having been to one before) - you have to put a full stop to things. Nice touch was a bloke in a car turning his radio off as the cortège went past.
Quiet funeral tea, I was very hungry with all the emotion. Left at 5.30, back by ten after changing over outside Reading and stopping for tea at South Mimms. Had just enough energy left to microwave a vegetable lasagne and watch the Crimewatch update.

I think today has been a maturing experience. It would be good if something good were to come of it.
