Worked on improving Worddel, made progress - I've made a real cognitive leap with VC++.

It occurred to me that since income support is paid in arrears, on Oct. 11th I should get a normal £93 enhanced Giro to spend as I like. That'll be a big help.

Rang M in the evening and left a message on her answering machine re my serial cable. She rang back and we went for a few drinks at the Crown. She went on about how old we were getting and reminisced about the 1984-86 days when we used to meet up on the corner of the street after school.

28 days - four weeks - to go. 4 weeks! It's exciting but just a little bit frightening.
