Into town, jobcentre, library. One of the books I got from the libe reprinted some photos of that Groom Dry Lake place I think The X-Files went to.

Did more VC++.

Got onto the USENET newsgroups on Compuserve - found a lot of stuff on the sauce-filth boundary.

Two weeks to go ('Only a fortnight more' as Henchard said). Worked out the scale on that Dulchester map I bought yesterday.
