Day 1059

M came round about 10.30 and we walked into town for a long stroll round mobile phone shops and interminable moaning from M over her £199 Orange phone. Then I borrowed mum's car and we drove to Lakeside; M cheered up when she managed to ring home from the A12.
She and her fiancé, E, are talking in terms of when they have children rather than if.

Thought: would an index to my diaries be a good idea? Would be interesting to see what I write about most. And if it was updated only after each volume it wouldn't be too wasteful to maintain. Aren't I writing a lot for each day these days? What does it mean? Could cost me a lot in diary books.
