Day 1280

Lay in till nine, what luxury! Went off in a misty, moisty morning to endure a 30-minute wait at the station. But I made the connection and got to campus by 11.30 or so. Experimented in the lab, wrote a UNIX C dump prog. Got some course books from the libe, also a much-needed UNIX book. Did some more experimenting, got the 2.28 home. Read the UNIX book all the way back to Mugsborough.

After season ticket enquiries at the station, walked home; the Sun was just breaking through the mist.

My blisters are much improved: I wore my white trainers for added comfort.
