Day 1576

Got a good 9 hours' sleep, was up refreshed and got straight back to work on the project. Bashed it about until I had the slot store working as a derived class of the pointer list, and the compiled code reader working on top of that. Now I've got to do the chain as a derived class, then I can do the cell grid, then I can get the running display going.

Discovered that the no-mail-waiting indicator on Compuserve has been playing me false, when I more or less randomly decided to go 'Get New Mail' anyway. Spent some time composing a reply to the 7 messages from T that were waiting.

Got washed and brushed up for the weekend. I've been working dead hard on the project this week and deserve a rest.
