Day 1596

Rode into town in the morning, went to the bank. At the library drew copies of maps of Bournemouth and Guildford for the nox gallinae on the grounds that forewarned is forearmed

Back at home more notes. More program. No Lovejoy, as the cricket's on again.

Interesting bit in the paper about why one should not make platonic relationships romantic.

C came round in the evening, watched that G. Formby film he had me tape. Devised a background image for his web page.

Watched Hancock, the Lord Byron one.

In rather a dull patch Dombey & Son-wise.
