Up early again for a massive C++ stint. By the end of the day I'd got a Windows versh of the guess-the-hidden-point game going. Think it's starting to come together.

Went round to the chemist to investigate anti-smoking stuff; the pharmacist warned me that people tended to get addicted to the gum (though, he said, it was good for business) but I thought something that satisfied an oral need would be good.

Good film of Nelson Mandela in Brixton and at South Africa House today.

To M and E's in the evening. Made a sort of tentative arrangement to join up with their meal at the Crown tomorrow evening.
