Day 1565

Really hot today, 80° in the afternoon. Worked on my project (VTPCM). Got certain elements working but it looks a bit poor visually and could work better. Also rewrote ZX-Asteroids on the ZX-81 emulator.

Jo Jones rang up in the evening, quite independently (I mean I hadn't spoken to her about it) and said she didn't fancy the plans for the hen weekend and how about just going for Friday and Saturday. I immediately agreed, as it gets me out of the sillier activities without offending M.

Not smoking has been a lot easier than I thought, thanks to the gum, but I wish I had something else to do while drinking, or after meals. How about sunflower seeds like Mulder?

Seeing my supervisor tomorrow. Hope he doesn't react too badly to VTPCM. I've done 141 hours on it so far (5d23h).

Wouldn't be surprised if a few thunderstorms drifted over from France tonight.
